Cancer Research UK Relay For Life, Cardiff would like to invite you to an inspirational and unforgettable fundraising event at the Millennium Stadium.
Each member of our committee has their own reason for taking part in Relay for Life. We, like many people, have been affected either directly or indirectly by cancer. We want to support the fantastic work of Cancer Research UK by hosting Cardiff's first Relay for Life.
This non-athletic event sees local teams of friends, family, neighbours and colleagues walk around a track for 24 hours. Each team tries to keep at least one member on the track at all times, whilst all around them the party is in full swing. We can't think of a better and more fun way of raising money for this wonderful cause than Relay for Life and we really hope that you can be a part of it. Securing a venue and date for the event has involved a lot of time and effort, but now that we have this in place we really want as many people as possible to come along, have fun, pay tribute to those affected by cancer, and above all raise as much money as possible. It is a simple equation. More teams = more fun + more money for Cancer Research UK. So, what are you waiting for? Come and join us for a 24 hours you will never forget.
