The Food Chain prepares and delivers nutritious meals every Sunday from six different kitchens around London to people who are housebound with HIV-related illnesses.
In order to reach as many people as possible, we need volunteers who love driving and have access to a car to help us deliver meals to our clients. We are looking for drivers from our kitchen in Bermondsey.
Drivers work with a navigator who directs them around the 8 to 10 households due to receive meals that day.
A sense of calm and the flexibility to deal with roadworks and unexpected diversions are useful, while reliability is paramount.
